Subdivision and Land Development

The Township has an ordinance regulating the subdivision of land, adjustment of lot lines and development of lots for all purposes. Plans for all are subject to review by the Planning Commission and approval by the Board of Supervisors. Pennsylvania State Law mandates these reviews, and all approved plans are required to be recorded with the Monroe County Recorder of Deeds. A hardcopy of the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO) may be reviewed and/or purchased at the Township Municipal Building.
