The Parks and Recreation committee is an advisory Committee to the Board of Supervisors. The Committee meets on the Second Tuesday at 7:00 P.M.from March thru October at the Municipal Building.

Eldred Township is seeking multi-skilled applicant(s) to fill a position in the Public Works Department. Duties include, but are not limited to, routine road maintenance, building repairs and maintenance, grounds and park maintenance and snow and ice removal. Must have HS Diploma or equivalent and possess a valid PA driver’s license in good standing. Pluses are: PennDOT flagger certification, CDL Class B endorsement or Class A License and residency to allow for 30-minute response in the event of an emergency call out. Candidates are subject to background checks and pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing as well as random drug and alcohol tests if employed. Starting rate of $19.80 per hour with a generous benefits package. Application forms are available at the Municipal Building or on the website, www.eldredtwp.org. Public Notice
In order to efficiently conduct necessary business at the Board of Supervisors meetings the Board of Supervisors has instituted a Public Speaking Policy.
This Policy gives guidance to individuals or groups about how to present information, concerns or questions to the Board during public meetings.
A copy of the Policy is available at the Township Building during normal business hours or Here.

The Community Center Board will meet Tuesday, March 6 and Tuesday, October 2, 2025 at 3:30 P.M.at the Municipal Building.

ELDRED TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS- NOTICE OF THE AVAILABILITY OF REMOTE ACCESS TO THE MEETING
The Eldred Township Board of Supervisors holds it's regular meetings on the third Wednesdays of each month at 7:00 P.M., at the Township’s Municipal Building,
490 Kunkletown Road, Kunkletown, PA. 18058, and virtually, as described below. The meetings are for general business purposes, and any business that may come
before the Board of Supervisors. The meetings are open to the public. Public participation at the meetings is welcomed. Members of the public may attend in-person at the Township Municipal Building or remotely through the same on-line internet application or telephone option. Information for remote connection is contained on this website on this page above.
If you are not able to attend the meeting, and would like to pose a general question or comment to the Board of Supervisors, or a question or comment regarding
any items listed on the Board’s agenda, please do one the following:
Email your question or comment to a.velopolcek@eldredtwp.org prior to 12:00 p.m. on the date of any scheduled meeting.
Send a letter with your question or comment to the Township Office via the USPS, or hand delivery, and we will respond to it upon receipt.
The Board’s agenda can be found at the Township’s website listed above, but is subject to revision both prior to, and at the time of the Board’s meeting.
Fall Clean-Up Days:

Friday, September 12 from 7 A.M. until 4 P.M. and
Saturday September 13 from 8 A.M. until 2 P.M.
Tires require payment:
Car tires: $5.00
Truck tires $10.00
Large Truck tires $15:00
All other services are free to Eldred Residents.
Metals go to recycling so please keep them separate.
